His son, Lion Evan’s Steve Solomon, is working as a Data Scientist at Ernst & Young (EY) in New York, USA. His daughter, R.C. Kristina Susanna, is currently studying 12th Standard at Chennai Public School, Chennai. Professionally, Lion Rufus Christy is the Managing Director of Susan Consultancy and is actively involved in the Real Estate business across Chennai and throughout Tamil Nadu. He also serves as the Vice President of the Chennai Real Estate Association, contributing significantly to the growth and development of the real estate sector. He is also a Board Member of Rotary International District 3233, reflecting his commitment to service beyond organizational boundaries. Lion Rufus Christy entered Lionism at a very young age in 1999, joining the Lions Club of Arumbakkam under District 324 A1. • On April 14, 2000, he became the Charter Treasurer of the Lions Club of Anbu Tamil, during the governorship of PDG Lion LKS (District 324 A1). • During 2005–2006, he served as a Zone Chairperson in District 324 A5, under the leadership of PDG Lion Ramadurai. • He has held multiple District Chairperson portfolios in District 324 A5, showcasing his dedication and leadership. • In 2018, he founded a new club and served as the Charter President of the Lions Club of Frontline in his parent district, 324 A1. • In 2022–2023, he served as the District Chairperson for Christmas Celebrations in District 324 M, under PDG Lion Naveen. At present, Lion Rufus Christy is serving as the District Chairperson for New Year Celebrations (2025–2026) under the dynamic and vibrant leadership of PMJF Lion S. Bose, District Governor. Lion Rufus Christy’s journey in Lionism reflects dedication, leadership, service, and commitment, making him a respected and inspiring Lion leader.
